Lecture at University of Coimbra

Thanks to "Instituto Confucio Coimbra" for hosting a very special lecture in Portuguese language about Abelardo Lafuente at the "Universidade de Coimbra" last Nov 24th which is the oldest University in Portugal (founded 1290) and the 10th oldest in Europe. Such an honor for this research project to visit the campus.

Following the interest and curiosity of Professor Cristina Zhou who studied in Shanghai it was a great opportunity for Dr. Alvaro Leonardo-Perez to show the works and life of the Spanish architect who exported to China 100 years ago the typical south of Europe's Arabic historicism style. All the recent works and documentaries in China were shown and hopefully, more lectures will come soon following the great interest from the Sino-Portuguese academic community. His Ph.D. dissertation about old shanghai Spanish architecture was this time explained in Portuguese to students and professors who joined us at the lecture area. See the IC-UC post HERE.
