Lecture at Instituto Cervantes in Shanghai

This Research Project is proud to show the Lecture Event photos held at Biblioteca Miguel de Cervantes in Shanghai during the intense week of Dr. Leonardo-Perez in China to celebrate the 50 years of diplomatic relationship between Spain and China and the Exhibit at the CIIE 2023.

On November 3rd, 2023 at 7 pm a lecture was organized at the Conference Hall at 208 Anfu Road, Xuhui, Shanghai named "Abelardo Lafuente, the architect of the Spanish Shanghai" with many people and friends of this research attending at the venue, plus many others over the online platform released by the Cervantes.

Soon lectures will be available in Chinese and Spanish on the YouTube Channel of Abelardo Lafuente.

The lecture was presented by Biblioteca Cervantes' Director Mrs. Inma Gonzalez-Puy and attended by Spanish Consul in Shanghai Luis Calvo even Benedetta Tagliabue from EMBT Architects attended since she was in Shanghai to participate at China International Import Expo and other architects as 100architects director and other companies.

Many relevant Shanghainese journalists and researchers attended as Victor Escribano from Agencia EFE, Michelle Qiao from Shanghai Daily, Spanish novelist of these ages Marta Lopez, Mariel Bruno from EXTRAZONA S.A., Alicia Framis, and other friends from Spanish community as Professor Teo Hidalgo. Finally, following interest in the topic, the lecturer received many different questions from Astor House Hotel Archives researcher Xiong Yuezhi and other students and citizens attending.
