"ANUARI d´Arquitectura i Societat" publishes a new article about Abelardo Lafuente´s Philippines chapter.

In the last month of 2021 another scientific article was published by Dr. Alvaro Leonardo-Perez at the Spanish research and scientific journal "ANUARI d´Arquitectura i Societat" from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) about Abelardo Lafuente discovery, life, and works.

The article is in dual language: English and Valencian, and it can be found at the Polipapers portal (https://polipapers.upv.es/) and Editorial UPV having other interesting fourteen research articles from diverse countries, such as Italy, Mexico, Turkey or USA from fellow researchers, such as Jorge Molinero, David Karle, Michele Caja, Alessandro Raffa, Miguel Angel Bartorila, among others.

The paper is called: "A Spanish architect in Asia. The influence of life in Manila, Philippines in the Works of Abelardo Lafuente" and it is available in the PDF version at our website section "Our Papers".

It analyzes his early life and influence from the Spanish Archipelago (1898-1912) in his early works, before his next professional step to the vibrant city of Shanghai in China, during its initial "Golden Ages", where he arrived in 1913.
