This is a relevant project in Shanghai considered as designed by Yaron but at this post, I would like to revindicate the authority of the project to be from "Lafuente & Yaron Architects" because they were in partnership until May 1928 as per their personal correspondence found at Leonardo-Perez, A, 2019 UAH PhD dissertation. Please help us find further original information like the date and drafted plans.

It is a 9-story concrete building (GF with shops plus 8 apartment levels being upper one terraced apartments) designed by A.J. Yaron and his son working at their office as draftsmen. It happened while the Spanish partner was working alone in the name of the company in Los Angeles from 1927 until 1931. It was agreed by both partners for him to go and get more clients and projects there due to his famous buildings in Shanghai in the decade before. This particular masterpiece had a prominent Art Deco coronating structure which is quite known in the city

The professional relationship between both partners was obviously challenging as they were really far away from the other and the Russian in Shanghai had his young son (with a given name smartly starting with the same letters as his father) working at the architectural office he owned with Lafuente.

Buildings from these ages (1927-1928) were usually registered and signed by the Russian architect and seems he took advantage of it once they dismantled the office he even published news talking about his projects without mentioning the Spanish ex-partner. He also inherited all of their clients mainly after 1930 when he didn't expect Lafuente to come back to the city, but he did. Unfortunately sick and died after couple of months and we will never know what would happen.
