Olympic Cinema

This building was the largest, most solid and elegant cinema of all those built by Abelardo Lafuente for Antonio Ramos in Shanghai.
The Olympic was located in one of the main streets of the "International Settlement". It began by calling itself that, and later changed to Embassy. The building stood until the early 1990s under a Chinese name, and was demolished to make way for an office building.
