Casino Old Wheel

This building is only mentioned in one of the press releases following his death in Shanghai, on December 8, in which it is described as one of the projects of such a well-known architect. The North China Herald (1931 , p.345), described it as follows:
“It will be recalled that 11 years ago, he designed and supervised, the construction of the “Old Wheel” on North Paoshan Road, which was never opened to the general public.”
Probably as it was an illegal gambling building outside the Concessions and closed by the police in 1918, he never mentioned its authorship.
