Abelardo Lafuente, the architect who showed China the Arabic style of southern Europe

New lecture and the first of Dr. Leonardo-Perez in Portuguese language at the "Coimbra University" thanks to the support of the "Instituto Confucio de Coimbra" and due to the efforts of Professors Li Xiangmin, Professor Cristina Zhou and Executive Secretary Olga Canas who did a great effort to be the first Portuguese speaking institution to trust this lecture and content.

The lecture will be about the life and works of Abelardo Lafuente not only in Shanghai but also in the south of China where he did several projects and will show how he introduced the neo-arab style to local clients while in Shangai with a lot of success. This is a style both countries Portugal and Spain have in the South (Andalusia in Spain and Portugal it can be found in the Algarve, Alentejo, and even some examples in Lisbon) and it is of great interest to academic institutions.
